Police Appeal for Help Following Robbery


Cash stolen at knifepoint from North End Road Arcade

The police say: " We were called at approximately 9.15am on Saturday December 5 to reports of a robbery at an amusement arcade in North End Road, SW6.

" A male suspect entered the premises and banged several times on the cash office door armed with a knife. Pointing the knife at the member of staff, the suspect demanded the safe be opened and cash given to him.

"The suspect then left the premises with a quantity of cash. No persons were injured in the robbery, and no arrests have been made at present. "

The suspect is described as a black male, of slim build with a London accent, wearing a blue woolly hat, black scarf, blue coat, blue jeans, and dark gloves.
