Pedestrian Dies After Fulham Road Collision

87-year-old man hit by Mercedes on Thursday morning

An elderly pedestrian has died in hospital after earlier being involved in a collision with a car on the Fulham Road.

The 87-year-old man was hit by a Mercedes car shortly before 11am on Thursday, 25 January.

Despite the attention of paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance the victim died later in hospital. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Officers from the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit [SCIU] are investigating.
