Residents Invited to Friends of Bishops Park AGM


Includes talk by renowned landscape architect

Anyone interested in the future of Bishops Park is invited to join the Friends of Bishops Parks' Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 23

The meeting will start at 8pm in St. Etheldreda's Church Hall, at the corner of Cloncurry Street and Fulham Palace Road, with members and local residents asked to arrive by 7.45pm.

The evening will include a talk by landscape architect and historian Dr Todd Longstaffe-Gowan speak about his experiences with royal parks.

Discussion at the meeting will also include future development of the park, which could include restoration of its beach, a popular attraction in Edwardian times when it was known as Margate Sands.
