Man in seventies treated at scene by paramedics and taken to hospital as priority
London Ambulance say that the pedestrian who collapsed outside Fulham Broadway this morning, Tuesday April 5 was an elderly man who had suffered a cardiac arrest.
A spokesman for the service says: " We were called at 11.38am to reports of a person collapsed at Fulham Broadway and Fulham Road in SW6.
"We sent a single responder by car, two ambulance crews and an advanced paramedic to the scene.
"We treated a man reported to be in his seventies in cardiac arrest.
"He was taken as a priority to hospital."
The man's collapse close to Fulham Broadway shopping centre brought traffic to a halt in Fulham Road and surrounding streets, with buses diverted onto Harwood Road, for around an hour.
