Motorcyclist Killed in Kensington Crash Named as Nick Gale of Fulham


Police appeal for witnesses to collision with cement lorry on Tuesday

A motorcyclist who died in an accident in Kensington High Street on Tuesday has been named as 39 year-old Fulham resident Nick Gale.

Police say they were called to Kensington High Street at around 10am on Tuesday, March 10 by reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and cement lorry.


London Ambulance Service say that Mr Gale was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to take place on Monday, March 16.

The driver of lorry failed to stop at the scene, but
the lorry was recovered later in the W2 area and police say they have spoken to the driver. He has not been arrested.

The incident is  now being investigated by the
Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton Traffic Garage.
