Churches Hold Easter Celebrations
At Fulham Town Hall on March 30, at 7.30pm Jehovah's Witnesses warmly invite local people to meet with them to exam the significance of Jesus' death.
St John's Church on North End Road, the St John Chamber Players under the direction of Ben Woodward, will perform the two hour epic Bach's St John Passion on Wednesday March 31 at 7.30pm. Tickets to this special event for Holy Week cost £10 either on the door or from www.stjohnsfulham.org/music
St John's Church will also have services throughout Holy Week, including a Blessing of Palms in Normand Park on March 28 at 10am an Easter Vigil on April 3 at 8.30pm and a Parish Mass with a blessing of the eggs on Easter Sunday at 10am.
On Palm Sunday, March 28, All Saints Church Fulhams will celebrate with a Procession of palms with donkey across
Putney Bridge from St Mary's Putney at 9.15am followed by a 9.30 Eucharist.
A second procession of palms with donkey will go from Bishop's Park at 11.15am followed by a Family Eucharist at 11.30am.
All Saints Fulham will have a full programme of services throughout Holy Week culminating a Festival Family Eucharist on Sunday, followed by an Easter Egg hunt.
