Shop offering cards from over 25 charities now open
Cards for Good Causes has opened its shop at St John's Fulham, at the bottom of North End Road.
The shop offers cards from over 25 national and local charities under one roof.
Over the last five years, charities have received £20 million from Cards for Good Causes, making Christmas card sales an important source of funding for the charities.
Because operating costs are kept to an absolute minimum,the charities receive at least 75p in every £1 from their card sales, out of which they have to pay for the production and distribution of their cards and any applicable VAT.
The shop will be staffed by local volunteers and will be open from 1pm to 5.30pm on Tuesdays to Fridays, and 10am to 400pm on Saturdays until December 17.
