Teams join up to make video about benefits of flu vaccination
Staff at Chelsea and Westminster have burst into song to help raise awareness on flu vaccinations.
To help boost the numbers of staff having their flu jabs, teams from across the hospital have joined together to sing about the reasons why staff should protect themselves, their patients and their friends and family from flu.
The light-hearted video with a serious story features a member of staff who is worried about having his flu jab and colleagues from across the hospital reassure him. The video also covers the topics of hand hygiene and personal protective equipment.

Catherine Sands (Head of Emergency Planning) says: “This video has involved huge amounts of hard work and staff giving up their own time. We have already beaten our highest vaccination rate ever and we still have months to go.
" I am positive that just talking about the video has boosted vaccination numbers and numbers can only rise more now that the video has been released.”
The song was composed by Chelsea and Westminster Music Therapist Jonathan Cohen with lyrics inspired by Catherine Sands. The hospital has thanked all the staff who took part to support this very special project.
