Did you know that Chelsea and Westminster Hospital hosts free lunchtime concerts every Thursday?
These free, public performances take place from 1pm till 1.45pm entertaining patients, visitors and staff.
The performances, organised by the hospital's charity CW+ range from South Asian dance, to classical music, rock 'n' roll, opera and more and following the public performance in the atrium, the performers visit different wards so that patients and staff unable to leave can enjoy some live music or dance.
Performances this month continue on 20 February with a South Asian Dance Recital from Akademi, followed by jazz from Shireen Francis, pictured below on 27 February.
The next month the programme continues as follows with a classical recital from Artists from the Concordia Foundation on 5 March; comedy from string trio The Bowfins on 12 March; South Asian dance performance on Akademi on 19 March and contemporary dance from Nikita Smith on 26 March.
The Fulham Road hospital also hosts a range of sales, open to staff, patients and visitors, in its main atrium.
The Friends of Chelsea and Westminster hold hook and bric à brac sales every Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm. The items for sale are donated from many different sources, including former patients, friendly publishers, local businesses, and generous local residents. Prices are kept low and all profits go to the Friends to fund various projects.
Book sales are held every Friday morning, with the next on 7 February and every other Wednesday, including 12 and 26 February, with bric à brac on alternating Wednesdays, including 5 and 19 February.
There are also daily sales by traders selling jewellery, linens, cosmetics, handbags, scarves, men's clothing and lots more.
You can check out what's on offer on the Friends' website.
