Celebrating Fulham Proves Another Huge Success

With host of activities showcasing the very best of SW6

During the festival, Fulham hosted dozens of culture and attractions. Between June 28 and July 6, Fulham hosted a range of events and activities including musical performances, food and drink masterclasses and cultural tours, culminating in the Fair on the Green on Parsons Green.

Hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed two live stages of music and entertainment, a fun fair, food court and a variety of other attractions, including more than 100 stalls.

Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Council's cabinet member for economic development, says: " Fulham has lots to offer shoppers, and this fair was a great occasion to showcase the area's excellent local businesses.

" But residents and shop-owners told me there is still much to do to breathe new life into Fulham's high streets, particularly North End Road. We are committed to working with them to reinvigorate North End Road and other high streets and parades across the borough."

Celebrating Fulham is organised by Hammersmith & Fulham Council in partnership with the Fulham Society. his year, the event was sponsored by London Square Fulham, currently building two developments in SW6 and Whole Foods Market Fulham, which opened this summer on Fulham Broadway.

Council-organised cultural tours will continue to take place in H&F over the coming weeks.
