Saturday July 3

Fair on the Green. A fabulous day out for all the family with two live stages offering live music and entertainment, plus hundreds of stalls, a food court, fun fair and lots more.

Parsons Green, 12pm to 5pm.

The Walham Wander. Scratch the surface of modern day Fulham Broadway and you find a medieval village with traces of an old village green and pond. Go on this free wander and get a glimpse of history.

Meet at Fulham Broadway tube at 11am.

Open Afternoon at the recently restored Church of St Thomas of Canterbury. The only church in London designed by the renowned architect Augustus Welby Pugin, who designed part of the Houses of Parliament. Refreshments available.

Introducing the Middle East to the West at Artiquea.  Watch a Middle Eastern artist and listen to light Middle Eastern music with snacks, sweets and drinks, including Arabic coffee and herbal teas.

Alice Through the Looking Glass at the Malt House. A day of whimsical celebration ... think tiny sandwiches, scones loaded with strawberries and cream and summery cocktails, with freebies flying around and old-fashioned drinks prices.

Oktoberfest Comes to Fulham. The closest thing to Oktoberfest outside Munich with live brass band Oompah Brass and traditional food such as pork knuckles and bratwurst. Prizes for the best Bavarian costume and a free shot of Schnapps if you come in a costume.

Sunday July 4

Continental Market on Fulham Island. Celebrate the flavours of the continent as Fulham Island is transformed by Savoir Fayre Ltd into a festival of food and culture. The mouth watering offerings include charcuterie, patisserie, French cheeses, Italian chocolate, honey, olives, German sausages and Swiss pancakes along with hand made soaps, ceramics, handbags, shoes, jewellery and much more.

Il Pagliaccio Cup. The famous 5-a-side tournament for kids aged 5 to 16 is back in South Park, with free pizza, soft drink and ice cresam for all winning teams.

Asparagus and Aristocrats - Fulham's past and present. An entertaining free stroll across Fulham from the Walham Green Market gardens to the riverside palaces, taking in the stories of Queen Catherine of Aragon, Janet Street Porter, Reg Varney and Barbara Cartland.

Meet at Fulham Broadway tube at 11am.

Fulham Palace Garden Walk. Find out about the gardens' unusual variety of plants, many of which are of historical importance.
