If you are planning to buy your Christmas tree over the next two weekends, drop into All Saints Church Hall at 70a Fulham High Street on either December 3 or December 10 from 10 till 4pm to buy a tree and benefit national employment charity Tomorrow's People.

The trees, a range of Nordman Firs priced from £28 to £50, can also be pre-ordered from the Tomorrow's People website.

A range of seasonal plants will also be available on the day at All Saints Church Hall.

A spokesman for the charity says:"Tomorrow’s People Trust is a national charity whose mission to help
long-term unemployed people break the cycle of unemployment and welfare dependency. Since we were founded in 1982 we have helped over 440,000 people on their journey back to employment.

" We support those in greatest need, by helping them build their confidence and motivation and gain the skills and qualifications that employers need so that they can return to employment or join the jobs market for the first time.

"In London we run two programmes:

• Working It Out for young people aged 16+ who are categorized as NEET
– those not in Education, Employment or Training.
• In2Work for young people involved in the gang culture and looking to
change their lives

" We have for the last three years sold Christmas trees to the general public and provided businesses and community groups with trees including a full  'dressing' service, our customers include Lambeth Palace and the BBC. This year we want to scale up our operations to
raise additional funds to help support our work and to give more young people an opportunity to turn their lives around."
