All Saints Fulham holds second fundraising sale
All Saints Fulham is holding a family vintage day this Saturday, September 25, with all sorts of bargains for sale including secondhand kids' books, toys and clothing.
The fundraising sale so successful last year the church are making it an annual event. It will take place from 10am till 2pm in the church hall at 70a Fulham High Street and as well as children's goodies, will offer lots of vintage-style accessories for grown-ups like cushions, book bags and hair bands.
There will also be entertainment for all the family, including facepainting, washable tattoos, a lucky dip, play area, portrait photographer and a barbecue and car boot sale in the garden.
Money raised from the sale will help support St Augustine's church and orphanage in Viana, Angola, which is twinned with All Saints.
Some of the proceeds will also go towards All Saints' children's and youth group activities and other church projects.
Last year's even raised almost £4,000 and parishioners are keen to repeat that success.
All Saints' associate vicar the Rev Penny Seabrook says: "The family vintage day is not only a good opportunity to grab a bargain, it's also somewhere to meet fellow Fulham residents and for families to have some fun. All the proceeds go to a great cause."
