April Events at Fulham Palace

Easter fun, tours and kissing exhibition

Chocolate prizes are on offer on Easter Sunday, April 12,

when Fulham Palace runs a Children's Easter Trail.  Complete

the trail around the Palace and its gardens and clever kids

can add the chocolate prize to their horde of Easter eggs.

The fun begins at 12.30pm, with tickets priced £3 per child, and pre-booking is advised.

Meanwhile grown-ups can enjoy a guided historical tour of Fulham Palace and the ancient site, taking in the major ground floor rooms, the Victorian Chapel and the gardens - weather permitting!

These tours take place this month on Easter Sunday, April 12, Tuesday April 21 and Sunday April 26. They begin in the Tudor Courtyard at 2.00pm.

Tickets for these tours cost £5 per person (free to Museum Associates) and no booking is necessary.

The Palace gardens are home to an unusual and rare assortment of trees and plants from across the British Isles and overseas, and you can discover the collection for yourself on a monhtly garden tree walk.  This month the walk will be on Sunday, April 26. Again, walker should meet in the Tudor Courtyard at 2.00pm. No booking necessary, and tickets are £5 (free to Museum Associates).

The spring exhibition at Fulham Palace Gallery is Just Kissing. Jonathan Murphy, Michael Grossbard and Paul Richards interpret the act of kissing, and argue that kissing is a metaphor for ideas of collaboration and interaction between both objects and individuals, in many day-to-day situations.

The exhibition is on until May 5 and for gallery opening hours go to the visiting and booking pages at Fulham Palace.
