Celebrating Fulham Starts to Take Shape


Week long festival of local life and culture

Celebrating Fulham, the biggest local event of the summer, will take place between June 27 and July 5.

This annual event has proved hugely popular in the past, and aims to provide entertainment for all the family, including from around the world, live music, illustrated talks and plenty of fun activities for children.

This year, the organisers have teamed up with the I Love Fulham Loyalty campaign, with local businesses offering a range of money-saving offers throughout the week.

Among the highlights already lined up are:

Fulham Festival - Saturday, June 27

A mezze of foodtstalls in Jerdan Place and Farm Lane offering a chance to sample food from Fulham's best loved restaurants and shop, plus music and children's entertainment

The Great Parsons Green Treasure Hunt - Sunday, June 28

Organised as a fund-raising event by Hammersmith and Fulham Historic Buildings Group, the treasure hunt is a great fun way to explore a historic part of London, with great prizes to be won

Omnibuses in Fulham and Hammersmith  - Tuesday, June 30

An illustrated talk by the London Transport Museum at Fulham Library

An evening with the Epstein Piano Duo - Wednesday, July 1

A programme including pieces by Beethoven, Shostakovitch and Brahms in Fulham Palace's Great Hall

Jazz Weekend - Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4

Jazz concerts in Fulham Palace's walled garden

Fair on the Green

A family day out on Parsons Green, with two live stages of music and entertainment plus hundreds of stall, food court and fun fair
