Dancing lessons every day of the week

Strictly Come Dancing fever has swept through SW6,

with dancing lessons now available seven days a week.

Dance Attic Studios in North End Road has classes every

evening and during the day at weekends, with levels ranging from beginners to advanced. Highlights of the schedule include Belly Dancing,Bollywood, Street Dance, Rap, Jazz and Salsa.

Classes are ongoing so people can join at any time. No booking is required for classes, which cost between £4

and £6 each. Joining Dance Attic costs £2 daily.

teaches Ballroom and Latin Dancing at Dance Attic on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, including a new Friday

evening class for absolute beginners.

On Sunday between 3pm and 4pm Swingland comes to

Dance Attic, with a weekly workshop in Lindy hop, the

original swing dance.

Swing dancing is also on offer from Swing Patrol at Havana on Fulham Broadway on Tuesday night at 7pm. Classes, which cost £8 each are casual and people are welcome to turn up any time.

Fulham Town Hall has become London's favourite venue for Ceroc, a blend of jive and salsa, with over 200 dancers taking to the floor on Wednesdays. Ceroc London say the dance is easy to learn, new members are welcome and you don't need to bring a partner as everyone changes partners regularly. Classes cost £8 each and a lifetime Ceroc membership card costs £2.

Kids aged 5 - 16 have their own classes, provided by IyP-School at Lillie Road Fitness Centre. The classes, which aim to get youngsters involved in dance to performance level are street/jazz on Friday evening at six and ballet/contemporary and street/jazz on Saturday from noon till 2pm. Dancers can join at any time and classes cost £8 each.

Want to seriously improve your footwork? Stardust Ball is running a four week ballroom course at St Dionis Hall, Parsons Green, beginning on Saturday March 7. Dances will include the waltz, quickstep, foxtrot and ballroom tango, and no partner is required. The course cost £55.

At Dance Attic, local choreographer and dance teacher Jack Murphy is running two four week courses for beginners, both beginning on Tuesday March 3. Ballroom Waltz is from 7pm - 8pm and Latin Cha Cha Cha from 8pm - 9pm. The full courses cost £32 each.
