It's Time to Celebrate Fulham

Summer festival will run from June 29 till July 7

Celebrating Fulham will include established favourites including Jazz at Fulham Place, the Fair on Parson's green, cultural walks and talks and the Paggs Cup, a five a side football tournament run by local restaurant Il Pagliaccio.

They will be joined by a host of events including an 007 Casino Royale Night at Karen Hardy Studios in Imperial Wharf, an archaeology investigation on the foreshore with the Thames Explorer Trust, an American Beer Festival at the White Horse pub and an Open Day at Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local History Centre at The Lilla Huset on Talgarth Road.

The Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham, Cllr Frances Stainton, says: " Celebrating Fulham has become one of the highlights of the year and I am sure this year’s events will only add to its fine reputation.

" The festival offers a huge variety of attractions for people of all ages throughout the week. The aim of the week is not only to give residents, families and visitors a great experience, but to promote Fulham and boost business trade too.

"It really is wonderful to see so many businesses and local residents taking part in this year’s event. There is truly something for everyone of any age, so make sure you have fun in Fulham."

H & F Council says the Celebrating Fulham programme has been distributed to all Fulham households and in addition the full programme of events can be downloaded at the council website. You can also pick up a copy from Fulham Library or Fulham Town Hall.

We will also bring you a day by day guide to the celebrations on FulhamSW6.com.
