DOG SHOW was fixed!
Really disappointed and a bit irratated by the so-called dog show today. (13 June). Most upsetting was that the judging was clearly "fixed". The woman from the cafe took charge (a bit of a bully?) of determining the winners despite children being told to "judge." If she didn't like the child's choice, she turned away and chose another dog — clearly her friends or customers! At least half the dogs in each category weren't even looked at! And the obvious winners (particularly in the Best Tricks category) were ignored! People on the side lines were astonished. A bit angry, actually. Money should not be charged for events that are poorly organized and judged with bias. And to begin, the organizers were in chaos — no one seemed to be in charge. The woman using the microphone didn't know how to use the microphone so no one was able to hear the categories — people missed out on their events unless they huddled by the organizer. No clear instruction how to proceed. No attempt to include all dogs in each category at all. What's the fun in this! It was a shame. Lesson learned! Won't go again.
