BRIDE TOOK BOUQUET TO MOTHER'S GRAVE.
After her marriage at All Saints Fulham Parish Church, a Fulham bride Miss Muriel Widdows of number 29 Hestercombe Avenue went to to Fulham cemetery, Sheen and placed her bouquet on her mother's grave.
The bride is the second daughter of retired police constable John Widdows who was unable to attend the wedding owing to illness.
The bridegroom Mr. Harry Stevens, an engineer comes from Newport Monmouthshire. The couple met a year ago.
Given away by her uncle G. Widdows, the bride wore a pale-grey costume and white feathered halo hat. She carried pink carnations.
Attendant upon the bride were Miss B.Trott, a friend, G.Ketteridge a nine year old cousin of the bride and her nine year old niece Patricia Crowe.
Their dresses were pale of blue and they had floral headdresses.
Miss Trott's bouquet was of scabious and tea roses.
The young bridesmaids held posies of anemones
Best man was George Crowe brides brother-in-law.
The reception was at 29 Hestercombe Avenue Fulham.
