Man caught on camera repetitively dunking dog in canal

A 37 year old man has been arrested following footage showing a man repeatedly dunking his dog into the canal at Southall.

There was a horrified reaction to the incident footage which happened on Tuesday, 7 April at approximately 12.45hrs and was posted on the social media platform twitter.

The RSPCA and the Police were immediately involved and say  a 37 year old man is now being questioned in connection with this matter.

They say the dog is now safe with officers.
