Caffe Uno to be converted to new format
Yet another brasserie style restaurant looks set to come to Chiswick according to reports in the trade press. Paramount Restaurants is apparently planning to convert the Caffe Uno on Chiswick High Road into an all day version of its Chez Gérard chain.
Paramount acquired the 53 Caffe Uno outlets last November for £33 million but now is looking to change at least 12 of them to the Brasserie Chez Gérard format. This will be a more casual version of the restaurants of the same name in the City and the West End and was piloted at a site in Cambridge last year.
Caffe Uno is on the corner of Devonshire Road and was formerly the original site of the Kleftiko Restaurant.
We have contact the press office of Paramount Restaurants for further comment about their plans in Chiswick but have yet to receive a response.
