Newest local restaurant opens then closes suddenly for 'refurbishment'
The latest restaurant to open in Chiswick appears to have closed suddenly 'for refurbishment' after being open for a couple of weeks.
Nova restaurant, located at the former 1820 premises opened saying it would serve "an expert fusion of modern European cuisine with hints of their combined cultural heritage."
However local people are wondering why the restaurant closed for continuing work so quickly. A sign outside says it is closed for refurbishment. Calls to its telephone landline booking service are not being taken, but its website still offers a table booking service.
We have attempted to contact the management for clarification.
There are unconfirmed reports that it has had to close to carry out more work on noise insulation and other technical work necessary before it can trade as a business.
