Joins Idris Elba and family and tries sabrage at Le Vacherin
Two global superstars dined out in Chiswick this week as Will Smith and his family joined Idris Elba for dinner at Le Vacherin restaurant on Thursday evening.
Will was invited to try the art of sabrage, a speciality at the restaurant on South Parade, in which a bottle of champagne is opened with the stroke of a sword. He appears to have been successful at the first attempt. After this, Idris Elba suggested one of their female companions be invited to try for gender balance.
Le Vacherin posted on its Facebook page, “Now this doesn't happen every day and we couldn't be more excited that the great Will Smith paid us a visit with his family and with Idris Elba and took this amazing video of him trying Sabrage!! We couldn't believe our eyes!!
“We hope you had a night as wonderful as we did Will Smith and you are always welcome.”
The previous Sunday Will Smith was spotted in Boots in the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush. He was helping promote JUST Water a brand of ‘eco-friendly’ bottled water being launched by his son.
