Fuller's denies rumours saying it will remain 'very much a pub'
The George IV on Chiswick High Road is to remain a traditional pub according to Fuller's. A spokesperson for the brewery said that it would remain 'very much a pub' in response to rumours that their intention was to relaunch as a gastro-pub with more tables laid out for food.
Although Fuller's didn't want to give too much information away 'in order to stay ahead of the competition', they were happy to confirm it would definitely be an improved version of the original rather than a different George IV.

More details are to be released soon along with a confirmation of the date of the reopening which was originally scheduled for some time around the end of October. In the meantime drawings of the new pub have been posted on the hoardings outside. They do appear to show that the layout will be very similar to how it was previously.
