Byron confirms that it will open a branch soon
Byron the gourmet hamburger restaurant chain have confirmed that they will open a branch in Chiswick.
The founder Tom Byng took to Twitter saying saying he was happy to confirm what was described as 'W4's worst kept secret', that Byron would open its next branch in Chiswick.
Speculation had been mounting that the hamburger restaurant was on the way, following the closure of Cafe Rouge last week.

The new restaurant is expected to move into that premises although this has not yet been confirmed.
A branch of Byron recently opened at Hammersmith. There are over thirty branches in London as well as in Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester, Kent, and Oxford. Last year the chain posted profits of over £8million.
Byron was set up after Tom Byng spent a four year stint in America as a student where he "ate enough hamburgers to sink the Titanic". When he returned to London in 2007, he felt there weren't any restaurants offering burgers like those at his favourite American diner, The Silver Top.
He says his vision is to do a simple thing well, and do it properly. He is sometimes referred to as the "bourgeois Burger King".
The Byron website says; "We source good beef from Scotland. We mince it fresh every day. We cook it medium so it’s pink, juicy and succulent. We place it in a soft, squishy bun with minimum fuss and fanfare. We serve it with a smile in a comfortable environment. And that’s it."
The restaurant charges £6.75 for a classic hamburger, £9.5 for a Baconburger, £7.75 for a veggie burger, and includes a two-course Children's Menu for £6.50.
The restaurant was named partly after the poet, and partly because 'byron' is Old English for cowshed.
Last year the chain was sold for over £100 million to investment group Hutton Collins. It was put on the market by its then owner Gondola, which owns Pizza Express, Ask and Zizzi.
The Chancellor George Osborne hit the headlines when he tweeted a picture of himself eating a takeaway from the Waterloo branch of Byron as he put the finishing touches to the last spending review.
