A woman has been charged with murder after a body of her ten-year-old son was found at a residential address in Acton.

Forty-year-old Olga Freeman is due appeared before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 17 August and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 19 August.

At 2.30am on Sunday, 16 August she came to a west London police station and spoke with police officers.

As a result of this conversation, officers and London Ambulance service went to a house on Cumberland Park W3 where the body of Dylan Freeman was discovered. Neighbours have reported hearing a scream in the middle of the night.

Nobody else is being sought at this stage in connection with the death.

She is a director of the residents' property management company for the house at which the body was found. She was born in Moscow.

Dylan is understood to have been disabled and used a wheelchair.

Mrs Freeman's husband and the boy's father, Dean Freeman, is a photographer. He is understood to have been in Spain at the time of his son's death. He has issued a statement saying, "Dylan was a beautiful, bright, inquisitive and artistic child who loved to travel, visit art galleries and swim.

"We travelled extensively over the years together spending such memorable time in places including Brazil, France and Spain.

"I can't begin to comprehend his loss."
