Suspected Burglar Refused To Come Down From Roof in Acton

A cordon was set up around a premises on Agnes Road, Acton due to a man suspected of burglary on the roof of a building.

The police were called at 4.49am on Sunday, 1 September, to reports of an alarm activated and a suspicious male inside the building near to the Vale.

When they arrived approximately 10 minutes later they say the man on the roof where he remains according to the latest reports and the area has been sealed off.

A helicopter from the National Police Air Service was used to monitor the man.
