Police seek man who they believe is possibly local to the area
Police investigating a robbery on Acton High Street have released CCTV footage showing a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
On 23 January, a 68-year-old man was walking home after visiting the shops on Acton High Street, when he began being followed. At approximately 1.10pm he was punched by a man who stole his wallet.
The suspect is described as a male aged approximately 40-50 years wearing a dark hooded jumper and scarf. In the video he can be seen walking up and down the High Street in the vicinity of the Kings Head and making off down Crown Street.
PC Tom Henley, from Ealing CID, said, "The CCTV footage we have is of a good quality and plainly reveals the suspect's face; do you recognise this man? He may well be local to the area and I would urge anyone with information to tell the police immediately."
