A list of all the street parties and events planned in the borough

A list of all the street parties taking place in Hammersmith and Fulham has been announced along with free parties at local parks.

Street parties will also pop up throughout every borough with communities coming together to celebrate the historic occasion.

Plans are being made throughout the country to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee marking her 70 years on the throne. People are invited to pay tribute to the monarch over a four-day Bank Holiday weekend from Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5.

In London, major events are being held for the public, including a concert outside Buckingham Palace and a service at St Paul’s Cathedral. The official pudding of the Jubilee was recently unveiled – a lemon and Swiss roll amaretti trifle approved by Dame Mary Berry.

The Labour-led council is hosting two free parties at Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith and Bishops Park, Fulham on Saturday June 4 from 12pm to 10pm. The events will feature musicians, dancers, food trucks and games. The Derby and Buckingham Palace’s evening concert will also be shown on huge screens at both parks.

There will also be two giant picnics at Ravenscourt Park and Bishops Park on Saturday June 5 from 12pm to 6pm. The council will give out some tables on a first come, first served basis but revellers are encouraged to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets. The lunches are free to attend, with visitors urged to bring their own food or buy some from food stands.

Over 70 big Jubilee lunches are set to take place in Hammersmith and Fulham over the weekend. Here’s the full list of streets hosting parties in the borough:
