Wandsworth Bridge Road will once again be going traffic free for its third Spring Fayre, taking place on Sunday, 12 May .

Following last year’s hugely successful event, this year’s Spring Fayre will see the Fulham street turned over to local people from 11am till 5pm on May 12, with dozens of market stalls, street food, arts and crafts, games for kids and live music.

The fayre will run from at least Ryecroft Street down to Friston Street (subject to change), with two live music stages set up at the junctions of Hazlebury Road and Narborough Street, as well as a children’s activities, a maypole, funfair stalls, children’s rides and much more.

Wandsworth Bridge Road Association, who are organising the event, say are now inviting local businesses and residents to get involved.

They are particularly keen to hear from businesses and sole traders who would like to take a stall along the street; musicians, entertainers, face-painters, people who run children’s activities or have talents they want to share; and local residents willing to volunteer or lend a hand organising the event.

There are also sponsorship opportunities for businesses wishing to promote their brands, with a priority given to local enterprises.

Find out more about getting involved and registering to take part in this year’s Spring Fayre here.

Wandsworth Bridge Road Association says, “ If you would like to take part, or to help in any way, we would love to hear from you. We aim to once again create a fun and festive Spring Fayre, so the more on offer the better.”

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
