Man Seriously Injured in Clancarty Road Stabbing

A 21-year-old man was taking to hospital after being stabbed in Parsons Green. Originally he was reported by the Metropolitan Police to be in a critical condition but the latest update is that the injuries are no longer considered to be life-threatening.

The attack took place on Clancarty Road, near Wandsworth Bridge Road and close to the entrance of the Ecole Marie d’Orliac, a French independent primary school, at around 3.30pm on Sunday, 24 March.

It is believed that two suspects left the scene on moped.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "An investigation is under way following a stabbing in Fulham. Police were called at approximately 15:35hrs on Sunday, 24 March to reports of a man suffering stab injuries in Clancarty Road, SW6. Officers and paramedics responded and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. "
